We believe in the inherent value of every human being. All people are capable of achieving greatness with the right support and cultivation.
We believe that books have the power to change lives. We accept and collect new and gently-used books as well as out-of-use electronics equipment to deepen the educational experience for all types of learners. We believe relevant educational resources impact everything from psychological well-being to academic performance. We provide critical resources to students of all ages as part of our mission to eliminate inequities.
Volunteerism is one of the fundamental parts of making our programs accessible and relevant. A volunteer’s expertise is critical to community development in places where financial support is limited. We organize community participation and train volunteers in leadership and teamwork skills while broadening their understanding of community development. Our volunteers partake in unique experiences and meaningful cultural exchanges by working alongside people from different socio-economic backgrounds.
We establish effective learning management systems at the local level by building information resource centers that offer a central learning hub as well as a haven for youth development. Our resource centers provide information about how to access our services while delivering our various programs. Each center is equipped with books, computers and educational software, audio-visual technology, a lecture hall, and a conference room. Our Information Centers offer a wide range of resources to support teaching, gaining new skills, and personal development tools for community members can use throughout their lives.
